Foundations

The Foundations Course is designed to set you up for success in a safe and confident environment prior to entering our regular classes. You’ll learn what CrossFit is and why it is a great way to get you fit for life and other endeavours. These small-group classes (which are required for everyone who has never tried CrossFit before) teach you all the basics to get you ready for the intensity of CrossFit. It’s also a great way to join the community with a group of new members, and gives the coaches a real opportunity to get to know you and ensure you get off to a flying start. You’ll also get to sit down with our very own nutrition coach, who’ll help you take the first steps toward improving your diet and reaching your goals.

Crossfit

Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit programme combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.

Personal Training

In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time to get regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have. CrossFit Outwork offers a wide range of personal workout programmes to help you achieve your ideal body. Your personal trainer will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you, whether your goal is to gain muscle or lose weight.

Nutrition Coaching

When it comes to achieving your health and fitness goals what you eat plays a huge part in your progress. Outwork Barbell Club

These classes aim to improve the classic Olympic lifts, as well as build strength in squats, deadlifts and presses. Our programming is designed for those at an introductory level, right through to advanced athletes prepping for WODs or competition. Our Barbell Club classes are great whether you’re looking to improve your technique and strength or want to pursue Olympic Weightlifting as a sport.

Crossfit Kids

Who says adults get to have all the fun? CrossFit Kids teaches children ages 3—18 the principles of mechanics, consistency and intensity in working out. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. CrossFit Kids provides children with physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and in the classroom.

Open Gym

Miss a workout, looking to work some skills, or schedule too hectic to make regular classes? Open gym gives you the flexibility to get your workouts in, your way. Plus with the experienced Outwork coaches on hand throughout the session, you can be sure you’ll make the most of your time.

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics class focuses on developing basic gymnastic skills and calisthenic movements. Covering all forms of body weight exercise this class is ideal for improving everything from pull ups, push ups and sit ups to rope climbs, muscle ups and handstand walks. Our well structured and progressive programme will have you feeling real improvements at every session. All ability levels welcome!

Mobility

Our mobility classes are ideal for athletes of all levels. Whether you’re looking to undo the postural harm of a desk job or add a few kilos to your lifts, these 30—45 minute structured mobility sessions are designed to increase your body’s range of motion, provide improved recovery from training and allow for optimal performance in your next WOD.
